Product Description

The KKPIT KONE KBT SP White Beetle truck is a high-performance 1/8 scale AWD desert truck, engineered for serious RC enthusiasts who demand durability, adjustability, and power in every run. With its robust 7075-T6 CNC-machined aluminum chassis and fully independent suspension, this truck is built to dominate off-road terrain and high-speed racing environments alike.

Equipped with a 3-differential drivetrain and premium metallic hydraulic shocks (16mm / 0.63″ diameter), the KBT Sport offers exceptional ground handling and adjustability. The threaded coilover design supports fine-tuning of suspension stiffness, while the multi-position shock towers and suspension arms ensure precise geometry changes for optimized handling across different terrains.

At its core, the truck runs a CNC-machined 42T spiral gear differential, paired with a redesigned 46T nylon center diff reinforced with a steel cup insert, achieving the perfect balance of lightweight design and noise reduction. The 4.5mm center dogbone shaft and 4.0mm (0.16″) CVD wheel shafts offer reliable power transfer, even under aggressive suspension articulation.

For improved durability and long-term performance, the KBT Sport features chrome steel drive cups, deep-groove ball bearings across drivetrain and motor mount, and reverse-thread steel turnbuckles for precise tuning. The adjustable ESC and battery tray module allows quick changes in weight distribution, tailoring the handling to your driving style and surface conditions.

Additional highlights include:

  • Ackermann-style steering geometry with stainless steel ball joints and bronze bushings for smooth response
  • CNC 17mm (0.67″) hex wheel hubs for strength and compatibility
  • Destroyer tires with high-grip rubber compound and rear mud scrapers for reduced rotational mass
  • Eccentric rear hub blocks enabling rapid toe/roll geometry tuning
  • Reinforced mudguards and dual-layer composite front arms for extra impact resistance

Build Options

We offer the KKPIT KBT-SP truck (White) in three build options:

  • Self-Build Kit - The self build kit requires assembly by the user and comes with a pre-painted body shell. This kit doesn't include any electronics or radio gear.
  • Almost Ready to Run (ARR) - The almost ready to run option includes the pre-built model with a pre-painted body shell but does not include any electrics or radio gear.
  • Ready to run (RTR) - The ready to run option includes the pre-assembled model with the below electrics installed - batteries are not included but are available seperately.
    - RTS 3660 / 3800KV motor
    - RTS EIPEE 150A 2-6S ESC with XT60 connector
    - RTS D25 6V/20KG steering servo
    - DUMBORC X4 remote control.

If choosing the Self-Build Kit or the Almost Ready to Run (ARR) option, we recommend adhering to the below minimum electrics specifications:

  • Recommended servo with torque not less than a 9kg rating
  • Motor should be not less than 3660 size (min. dia. 36mm).
  • Recommended ESC: 120A and 2S or above. 7.4V BEC or above

Important Information

All KKPIT models (including the RTR version) require the user to install all body-shell accessories/trims, LED lights and decals where applicable. Also, KKPIT models do not come with paper-back manuals - the manual and all assembly instructions are available digitally and are to be downloaded by the user. Links below:
