The HBX 2996A is pre-built with all-metal gearing as standard. This includes metal front, centre and rear differentials along with metal CVD drive shafts. The model also features fully serviceable and user-configurable parts including adjustable independent suspension, multiple shock absorber positions, adjustable camber, adjustable chassis clearance. Most parts can be upgraded including the chassis strengthened with red alloy parts.

This truck includes a 2S 1600mAh capacity battery as standard. Additional batteries are high-capacity 2400mAh batteries which utilise an extra strap to secure in place.

This means if you order the truck with 1 battery you will receive the 1600mAh battery only. If you order the truck with 2 batteries you will receive 1x 1600mAh battery and 1x 2400mAh battery. If you order the truck with 3 batteries you will receive 1x 1600mAh battery and 2x 2400mAh batteries.
